I joined BNI in 2004 having just started up my own swim coaching company with a staff of ONE - namely, ME! Within the first month, I had already made back my investment for a year’s membership, and as our chapter grew, so did my business.

Fast forward 3 GLORIOUS BNI years later today, my company has grown to a staff of 13, and we have now expanded to include swimming pool maintenance, swimming equipment supply and pool parties, in addition to swim coaching.

HALF my business comes from referrals or spin-off generated from referrals from BNI, and 80% of the referrals are easily converted to sign-ups. Many of the referrals have already been so thoroughly pre-sold by my members that they are only waiting for my call to sort out the details such as time, date and place! How easy and efficient is that??

And as if that wasn’t enough, the bonds I have formed with other members of BNI, both from my own chapter of INSPIRE and other chapters, have grown into firm and treasured friendships - we go on holidays together, and some have even resulted in new business ventures together.
